Configuration

1. When you open Pegasus for the first time, the Setting up mailboxes screen appears:

   

2. If there will only ever be one e-mail address using this program click on the icon of one person; if there will be more that one e-mail account using this program, click on the icon with two people. If you are configuring for more than one person, click here to continue with your instructions. If you are configuring for one user, continue with these instructions.

3. The next window will ask in which folder to keep your mail; the default is C:\PMAIL\MAIL, and you can keep this folder or change it. When you are ready, click OK.

   

4. The next window is a warning about a possible error regarding Windows 95 (this information is in the Help file of Pegasus also); click OK.

   

5. The next window to open asks if you wish to use the Winsock.dll file on your computer, click Yes (winsock.dll lets your modem use the phone line properly).
