Mid-Missouri Internet Services runs all outbound e-mail through a virus filter; an inbound virus filter is available as an extra service for for our subscribers at filtering.mid-mo.net. Mid-Missouri Internet Services does attempt to apply mail filtering rules for all subscribers to incoming viruses classified "High Risk" with known attachments. Files blocked are moved to a "possiblevirus" folder in your e-mail directory on the server (Webmail) where they can be reviewed or (most likely) deleted. Any attempt on our part, however, is not a substitute for updated virus protection on your computer.
